IELTS speaking groups are hard to run on Zoom. Everyone can unmute themselves. Background noise bleeds in. You can't easily control who speaks without an awkward "please mute yourself" moment. Teamlilit's stage model fixes this.
All students join your speaking group with their microphones off. You the tutor decide who goes on stage to answer the prompt. They unmute, they speak, they get feedback, they sit back down. The rest of the group listens without interruption. It's structured oral practice, not a free-for-all video call.
How a typical IELTS speaking session runs in Teamlilit:

IELTS tutors live on materials Cambridge practice tests, reading passages, writing task prompts. We want to be honest with you: Teamlilit doesn't yet have a built-in materials library where you can store and share PDFs directly inside the platform.

In the meantime: Paste your Google Drive, Notion, or OneDrive link directly into the session notes field of any student profile or group session. Students can access it from their reminder email or session link. It's not seamless yet but it works, and nothing gets lost.
We're building the materials library as a first-class feature. When it ships, you'll be able to upload PDFs, tag them by skill area (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking), and attach them to individual student profiles or group sessions.
