Terms and Conditions

Last updated: February 28, 2026

Welcome to TeamLilit. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TeamLilit platform, including our website, applications, and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TeamLilit.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TeamLilit. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Teachers and account holders must be at least 18 years old. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. TeamLilit is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.

3. Platform-Only Service (No Tutoring Provided by TeamLilit)

TeamLilit provides software tools that enable independent tutors/teachers to create and manage classes, schedule sessions, host live video lessons, share resources, track attendance, and manage educational workflows. TeamLilit does not provide tutoring, teaching, or educational instruction itself, and TeamLilit does not employ, endorse, or control tutors/teachers on the Platform.

Tutors/teachers are independent third parties. Any agreement for educational services is between the tutor/teacher and the student (or the student's parent/guardian, as applicable). TeamLilit is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, suitability, or outcome of any lesson or educational service delivered by a tutor/teacher.

4. Description of Features

TeamLilit may include features such as live video sessions (real-time communication), collaborative tools (e.g., whiteboards), exercise creation and grading, student management, scheduling (including recurring sessions), and multi-teacher organization support. Feature availability depends on your subscription plan. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing (Paddle as Merchant of Record)

TeamLilit offers paid subscription plans and optional add-ons. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders, and Paddle handles payment processing, tax/VAT collection, invoicing, and billing compliance. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable terms and policies.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal. Prices may be updated with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account may revert to a limited state. Data retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TeamLilit only for lawful purposes. You must not: upload/share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes rights; attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems; distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications; record, capture, or redistribute live sessions without consent of all participants; impersonate others; or use bots/scrapers without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

8. Tutor/Teacher Responsibilities

If you are a tutor/teacher, you are responsible for: complying with all laws and regulations applicable to your teaching and content; obtaining any necessary consents (especially when teaching minors); providing accurate descriptions of your classes; managing class conduct and enforcing your own class rules (within TeamLilit's Acceptable Use Policy); and ensuring you have the rights/licenses to upload or share any content.

9. User Content and Intellectual Property

Tutors/teachers and users retain ownership of content they create or upload (lesson materials, exercises, whiteboard exports, files, recordings, etc.). By uploading content, you grant TeamLilit a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to provide the Platform to you and your permitted participants.

The Platform (design, code, branding, and proprietary features) is owned by TeamLilit and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

10. Session Recording

Teachers may have the ability to record live sessions. When recording is enabled, participants will be notified. The teacher who initiates recording is responsible for obtaining required consent and complying with applicable laws, especially for minors. TeamLilit stores recordings securely and does not access or review recording content except as required by law or to provide technical support at the teacher's request.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.

12. Third-Party Integrations

TeamLilit may offer optional third-party integrations (e.g., Google Calendar). If you connect a third-party account, you authorize TeamLilit to access and use that data only to provide the integration features described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.

13. Disclaimers

TeamLilit is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee educational outcomes, lesson quality, tutor availability, or student results.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeamLilit shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, revenue, or profits). Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for TeamLilit in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeamLilit from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. You may delete your account by contacting support. Data deletion is handled per our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will provide notice of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use means acceptance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be handled by good-faith negotiation first, and then by the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which TeamLilit is registered.
