Most US schools start an A at 90%, a B at 80% and a C at 70%; many add plus and minus grades. Schools set their own cutoffs, so the easy grader lets you type yours.

With 25 questions on the A to F scale, 3 wrong is 88%, a B, and 6 wrong is 76%, a C.
A student with 86% and 41 out of 50, each worth 30%, needs at least 99% on a final worth 40% to reach a 90% average.
